Description

Magnetic resonance imaging technicians in the Military operate sophisticated equipment to produce high-definition, three-dimensional diagnostic images, and assist physicians with diagnostic imaging functions and activities. These expert technicians have knowledge of magnetism, magnetic safety, radio frequency, and magnetic physics; techniques of operating MRI equipment; and advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy applicable to MRI. They are an important part of the Military healthcare team.
